Lidia Terziotti
Ms. Terziotti, owner of Alexandria Translations, established the firm in January 1994 after working many years in the business. An experienced linguist, she has translating expertise in Italian, French, and Spanish, having worked and studied in Italy and France and at the Italian Embassy in Washington, D.C. Ms. Terziotti is a graduate of the University of South Alabama with a degree in International Relations. Her company holds corporate membership in the American Translators Association.

Janet Carper
Ms. Carper, Translation Director/Client Liaison, is bilingual in English and Italian and fluent in French, with a degree in English Literature from George Mason University in Virginia. Born and partly raised in Italy, she also attended the University of Florence. She brings to Alexandria Translations work experience from the International Monetary Fund, Italian Embassy, and United States Senate, in Washington, D.C.  Abroad, she has tutored in English while living in Italy, and in Italian while living in France.

Patricio Viteri
Mr. Viteri, editor and translator, studied Spanish philology in Ecuador and Spain. He has worked as a journalist and translator for a major news agency and has published a book of short stories. He is a contributor to literary magazines and newspapers.

Margaret Kabalin Leckey, Ph.D.
Dr. Leckey, editor and translator, holds a Ph.D. in Slavic Languages and Literature from the University of California at Berkeley. She has taught Croatian and Russian language classes and has spent considerable time doing research in Croatia.

Celia Leckey, Ph.D.
Dr. Leckey, editor and translator, has taught Polish, Russian, and Linguistics at University of California at Berkeley and Ohio State University. She now teaches English as a Second Language and translates into English from German, French, and several Slavic languages.

Florence Vérité, MBA
Florence Vérité, editor and translator, is bilingual in French and English, and proficient in Spanish. She holds a Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from George Mason University, Virginia. Her undergraduate education includes various French and English school diplomas. Florence brings extensive experience in business consulting, contract writing and management to Alexandria Translations.
